LMIA approved. This employer is approved to hire a foreign worker into this role, which is what lets a work permit be issued for it. It does not by itself make you eligible.

About this role

Lakeview Property Maintenance is a property maintenance company serving Alnwick and the surrounding Northumberland County area. We look after grounds, buildings and seasonal repairs for commercial and residential clients, and we need a shipper receiver to handle the goods that keep those crews moving.

Most days start in the yard and the stockroom. You will receive deliveries, check them against the paperwork, put materials away and pull orders for the crews heading out. You will also prepare outgoing shipments and keep the receiving area tidy and organized.

What you'll be doing

  • Receiving. Check incoming deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders and report any shortages or damage.
  • Storage. Put materials away in the correct stockroom or yard location and keep bins and shelves labelled.
  • Order picking. Pull parts and supplies for work crews and stage them for pickup or delivery.
  • Shipping. Pack, label and record outgoing shipments and load them safely onto trucks.

What they're asking for

  • No experience needed. We will train the right person on our receiving and record-keeping procedures.
  • Physical fitness. You can lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all seasons.
  • Paperwork. You are comfortable reading packing slips and recording quantities accurately.
  • Reliability. You have your own transportation to reach our Alnwick yard on time.

What the employer offers

  • Overtime. Paid at time and a half after 44 hours per week.
  • Gear. Steel-toed boots and weather gear are supplied after the probation period.
  • Training. Paid orientation and forklift training are provided.
