LMIA approved. This employer is approved to hire a foreign worker into this role, which is what lets a work permit be issued for it. It does not by itself make you eligible.

About this role

Portage la Prairie Plumbing is a small residential and commercial plumbing company serving Belleville and the surrounding Quinte area. We are adding a social media coordinator to help show customers who we are and what we do, from emergency repairs to bathroom renovations.

The day is spent on site and at a desk: taking photos and short videos of finished work, writing posts for Facebook and Instagram, replying to messages and reviews, and keeping a simple content calendar. You will work alongside the plumbers and the office lead, who will brief you on jobs worth featuring.

What you'll be doing

  • Content capture. Photograph and film completed jobs on site, with customer permission, for use in posts.
  • Posting. Write and schedule regular updates for Facebook and Instagram that match the company's plain, friendly tone.
  • Community replies. Answer comments and direct messages promptly and pass service requests to the office.
  • Tracking. Keep a simple content calendar and a monthly summary of followers, reach and enquiries.

What they're asking for

  • No experience needed. We will train the right person on our services, our tone and our booking process.
  • Writing. Clear, correct English with attention to spelling and grammar.
  • Reliability. A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle to reach job sites around Belleville.
  • Availability. Able to work occasional early starts when a job needs filming before the crew moves on.

What the employer offers

  • Training. Paid onboarding on plumbing basics, safety on site and our social media accounts.
  • Gear. Company phone, tripod and lighting kit provided for site content.
  • Mileage. Kilometres driven between job sites are reimbursed at the CRA rate.
