LMIA approved. This employer is approved to hire a foreign worker into this role, which is what lets a work permit be issued for it. It does not by itself make you eligible.

About this role

Truro Agri-Equipment Repair operates a small occupational health clinic for its repair shop and field service crews in Aurora, Ontario. We are adding a registered nurse to support workplace health, injury follow-up and day-to-day care for staff who work with heavy equipment and power tools.

Your day runs between the clinic room and the shop floor. You assess minor injuries and illnesses, dress wounds, manage return-to-work plans with supervisors, keep health records current, and deliver short safety and wellness talks at shift start. Training is provided for anyone new to occupational health nursing, and a senior nurse is on site to support you.

What you'll be doing

  • Direct care. Assess and treat minor workplace injuries and illnesses, and refer more serious cases to a physician or emergency department.
  • Return to work. Build and monitor gradual return-to-work plans with shop supervisors and keep the paperwork current.
  • Health records. Maintain confidential employee health files, incident logs and immunization records in line with Ontario privacy rules.
  • Health promotion. Lead short toolbox talks on hand safety, hearing protection and lifting technique at shift start.

What they're asking for

  • Registration. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing.
  • Certification. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate; occupational health training is an asset but not required.
  • Experience. New graduates are welcome; no prior nursing experience is needed for this role.
  • Conditions. Ability to walk the shop floor and a satisfactory criminal record check before start.

What the employer offers

  • Pay extras. Shift premium for afternoon coverage and paid overtime beyond 40 hours.
  • Cover and gear. Extended health and dental coverage, plus steel-toed boots and clinic supplies provided.
  • Leave. Three weeks of paid vacation in the first year and paid sick leave.
