LMIA approved. This employer is approved to hire a foreign worker into this role, which is what lets a work permit be issued for it. It does not by itself make you eligible.

About this role

Harbourlight Marine Supply is a marine parts and equipment distributor in Adstock, Quebec, serving boatyards and commercial fleets across the province. We are hiring order pickers to join our warehouse team in a role suited to someone starting out.

A typical day starts with a pick list and a cart. You'll move through the aisles pulling items, check quantities against the order, pack goods for shipment, and keep your zone tidy. Training is on the job, and you'll work alongside experienced staff who show you the routines.

What you'll be doing

  • Order picking. Pull stock from shelves and bins according to pick lists and verify item numbers and quantities.
  • Packing and staging. Pack picked orders for shipment and stage them in the dispatch area.
  • Inventory checks. Help with cycle counts and report shortages or damaged stock to the supervisor.
  • Housekeeping. Keep aisles and workstations clear and follow safe handling practices.

What they're asking for

  • No experience needed. We provide training; reliability and attention to detail are what matter.
  • Language. Working English is required as part of a bilingual team.
  • Physical fitness. Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 23 kg throughout the shift.
  • Safety footwear. CSA-approved safety boots are required on the warehouse floor.

What the employer offers

  • Shift premium. An extra $1.00 per hour for afternoon shifts.
  • Gear. Safety vest and gloves are supplied after probation.
  • Paid leave. Two weeks of vacation after the first year, plus statutory holidays.
